Submit a Short Film
The AMCF Short Film Showcase invites African Australian creatives to share their stories on culture, community, identity and connection. Open to short films (3–15 minutes, up to 20 with approval), all submissions must be family-friendly (G or PG).
Selected works will be screened at Fed Square and featured across AMCF’s platforms, offering filmmakers the chance to showcase their talent, build their profile and inspire audiences nationwide.

Expression of Interest is now open for short films at the three-day 2025 African Music and Cultural Festival (AMCF) from Friday 21 – Sunday 23 November 2025.
If interested, kindly download the film Agreement and read the terms and conditions alongside AMCF online terms and conditions.
Finally, you can attach a maximum of two (2) files e.g. Film and Biography or any supporting document alongside the film.
